Pop icon and hero of the people, Britney Spears, just shared a very important and powerful letter with the world on her Instagram account.
Britney, who just last year was released from a 13-year conservatorship under her father Jamie Spears, received a letter from the United States Congress congratulating her on her story!
In the letter they expressed that they wanted to invite Britney to tell her story in her own words of how she “achieved justice” as her story will undoubtedly inspired countless others!
Britney’s caption was an outpour of overwhelming happiness and relief. She shared that she was “grateful that [her] story was even acknowledged” as she felt “heard and like [she] mattered for the first time in [her] life.”
She continued to share that she wants to “help others in vulnerable situations” by “[taking] life by the balls and [being] brave.” Spears further acknowledged, “I’m lucky to have a small circle of adorable friends who I can count on.” And she mentioned the letter again saying thank you to Congress for inviting her to share her story.
Will we get an official shared story from Britney? It seems she is still healing but she is in a good place and feels empowered to speak out on her situation!
She also has the support of her fiancé, Sam Asghari, who commented on her post. He said, “Your courage will inspire others, your strength will motivate many, your voice has and will change lives. You’re powerful. Beautiful. And strong. This is why I call you lioness ♥️.”
We are happy to see Britney is doing well and moving forward in her power. We can’t wait to continue the story as she has so much to share with this world – her talent, her care, her story and herself!
