On Wednesday, Kourtney Kardashian shared photos from her infamous Las Vegas wedding ceremony but confirms they didn’t make it legal.
The reality TV star confirmed she married Travis Barker in Las Vegas after the Grammys, but it’s not official as they didn’t get a marriage license.
She did share some photos of the ceremony, though.
In the first image, Kourtney and Travis are seen touching foreheads and smiling in black leather jackets with an Elvis impersonator standing behind them.
Kardashian captioned the post, “Found these in my camera roll. Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas), at 2am, after an epic night, and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect.”
Another photo shows the couple wearing sunglasses, laughing, and Kardashian holding a small bouquet of red roses.
It was reported that the couple demanded an Elvis impersonator to officiate the ceremony. According to Page Six, the couple called the chapel owner at 12:30 AM to make their request. Owner Marty Frierson told the publication they wouldn’t commit to the booking unless he made the Elvis impersonator happen.
Frierson recalled them saying, “We have a celebrity coming in from the awards and want to make sure you’re open. We looked at your reviews. You’re a five-star chapel, so we know it’s nice – but can you get us Elvis?”
