The mother of Young Thug’s child has died after an alleged argument over a bowling ball ended in gunfire on Thursday night.
LaKevia Jackson was the mother of Young Thug’s 14-year-old son, Kyvion Jackson. She was shot and killed on March 17th after the alleged dispute.
The mother died at the age of 31 and was found at Metro Fun Center in Atlanta, Georgia, around 11 p.m., according to the Atlanta Police. LaKevia’s mother, Sherina Jackson, confirmed her daughter attended a birthday party at the bowling alley.
The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds. At this time, Atlanta police will not be releasing any more information or details on the shooter’s identity but believe they are close to an arrest based on surveillance evidence and witness testimony. On Friday afternoon, the Atlanta Police Department said they detained a woman connected to the case. Although, they confirmed she is not a suspect at this time.
A representative for Young Thug said he will not be releasing a statement.
