On Wednesday morning, A$AP Rocky was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport due to a shooting that happened in 2021.
The rapper landed at LAX following a trip to Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna and was immediately taken into custody.
His attorney confirmed the LAPD arrested Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, with help from the Homeland Security Investigations team.
The rapper has been under investigation by the LAPD for his alleged involvement in a shooting that took place on November 6.
The victim, who survived, told police Rocky and two other men approached him on the street and that Rocky shot at him three to four times. One of the bullets grazed his left hand.
This is not the first time Rocky has gotten into legal trouble for violent acts. In 2019, he was arrested in Sweden for involvement in a street fight.
We’re still waiting for more information, but Rocky and Rihanna’s baby is due to come any day.
