Gwyneth Paltrow discussed her thoughts on the claims that Kourtney Kardashian copied Goop by launching Poosh.
Paltrow started her company, Goop, in 2008. It’s a lifestyle brand that focuses on wellness, beauty, and fashion.
In 2019, Kardashian launched her website Poosh claiming it is a “guide to living your best life.”
Paltrow went live on Instagram to do a Q&A with her 8 million followers when one fan asked, “Are you upset that Poosh copied you?”
The Shallow Hal actresses immediately shut that claim down.
“This idea that women need to be in competition is legacy patriarchy bull****.”
She continued, “There is room for EVERY woman to fulfill her dreams. I used to fall prey to this kind of thinking years ago, so I understand where it comes from. Now I get so happy when I see a new wellness businesses. There is a place for all of us.”
She added, “Plus @kourtneykardash is a really good person and also #KRAVISFOREVER.”
