Kaley Cuoco is opening up about her personal struggles.
On April 28, Cuoco sat down for an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show and discussed her divorce from Karl Cook.
The Flight Attendant star said, “I’m very open. I’m very happy, and life is normally pretty good, and I don’t like complaining because I have so much to be grateful for,” Cuoco said. “I wanted to be very upfront that it wasn’t my best year. And I’ve been very sad.”
In September, the couple publicly announced the end of their three-year marriage.
In a joint statement, they said, “Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions.”
Cuoco has been open with her fans on social media about the split. On her 36th birthday, she shared an image to Instagram Stories with the caption, “Sometimes it’s ok to not feel totally ok. Even on ur bday.”
The actress also discussed how social media increases emotional distress.
“I think social media is very wonderful for so many reasons but it shows just all the good stuff,” Cuoco told Kelly Clarkson. “It makes you feel kinda crappy when you look at someone else’s life and you think they have it all.”
