In a recent interview, Khloe Kardashian speaks about her relationship with Tristan Thompson.
On Tuesday, May 24, Kardashian appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. The reality star begins the interview by saying, “I, like, miss the old me. I overthink everything now.”
When discussing interviews, she says, “I’m so hesitant to do them because people take 22-second clips, and they make a TikTok video out of them. And then that’s out of context, and then it turns into this viral thing. And I’m like, ‘What if you caught the first five minutes?’ You would understand maybe why I said that, or I don’t know. Now we’re always stuck explaining ourselves, and I think the world is so eager to cancel people.”
Kardashian also discussed how it felt seeing her relationship with Tristan Thompson on the first season of Hulu’s The Kardashians.
The couple had a troubled relationship with multiple scandals, including Thompson being caught cheating days before the birth of their daughter True and when it became public knowledge that the NBA player fathered a child with another woman.
When discussing how she found out about the incidents, she said, “I found out every time through a sister. I find out with the rest of the world, which is the most offensive part.”
Kardashian says the ex-couple are cordial for the sake of their daughter.
“She FaceTimes him every night, and it’s just very, like, cordial. There’s just not drama. Like to me, the facts are the facts. What are we continuously fighting about? I don’t need to know everything, but I know the facts, and that’s enough for me.”
“It’s sad because, like, there’s so many good sides to him as well, but no one gets to see those ’cause they’re all overshadowed by, like, the personal stuff that’s going on between him and I.
Khloe says Thompson is “a good person” but “not a good partner.”
When it comes to dating in the future, Kardashian says she’s not “in that headspace.”
“I feel like if I meet someone, like, organically, I don’t know. I’m not on any apps, and not that I’m, like, against it. I just can’t see myself really. I like energy. I feel like any photo I see, I’m just going to be like, ‘Oh, this is what we’re doing.’ Like, I just think I’m going to be super judgy.”
