Kim Kardashian Advocates For Uvalde Victim’s Father To Be Released From Prison

Kim Kardashian is doing it again.

She calls for a Uvalde victim’s father to be temporarily released from prison to attend his child’s funeral. She wants him to be able to “say his last goodbye.”

Eliahana “Ellie” Cruz Torres was one of the 19 victims killed last week in the devastating school shooting. Her father, Eli Torres, is currently incarcerated for drug trafficking with a 25 years prison sentence. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas says he sold cocaine in Uvalde from 2009 to 2011, and his expected release date is in February 2033.

On Thursday, Kardashian pleaded for his temporary release to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, stating, “so he can say his last goodbye to his baby girl. Every parent deserves that right.” She continued, it’s “a non-violent drug offense.”
