Miley Cyrus Calls Her Marriage to Liam Hemsworth a ‘F–king Disaster’

Miley Cyrus helped with a public proposal during a concert in Brazil on Saturday, March 26.

The singer, 29, invited a couple on stage during her performance at Lollapalooza Brazil. After congratulating the newly engaged couple, she wished them good luck saying, “Honey, I hope your marriage goes better than mine. Mine was a f–king disaster.”

Miley Cyrus got engaged to Hemsworth in June 2012, three years after the two met on the set of their movie The Last Song. The couple split in 2013 and then reconciled in January 2016.

They finally got married in December 2018 in a private ceremony only attended by close friends and family.

During an interview in March 2019, the Hannah Montana star told Vanity Fair they decided to get married after a wildfire destroyed their Malibu home.

“I would say that losing the house changed us much more than getting married changed us. When you experience what we experienced together with someone, it is like glue. You’re the only two people in the world who can understand.”

Less than a year into their marriage, the couple decided to call it quits in August 2019. The divorce was finalized in January of the following year.

Since their split, Miley has been romanticly linked with Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson and is currently dating Maxx Morando. Hemsworth has been dating Australian model Gabriella Brooks since December 2019.
