Sharon Osbourne has temporarily left her role on TalkTV since her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, suffers from COVID-19. She will be taking this time to care for his 73-year-old husband.
“I am very worried about Ozzy right now,” Sharon Osbourne said tearfully on the show. “We’ve gone two years without him catching COVID, and it’s just Ozzy’s luck he would get it now.”
In 2019, before the COVID-19 spread, Ozzy was forced to take a break from his European tour when he was hospitalized with complications caused by the flu. Since the pandemic hit, the family has been obsessively careful not to contract the virus.
Sharon is flying home from the UK to be with her husband and is expected to return to the show next week.
“You’re going to see me back on air in a week because I know my husband. We’re going to get him back on his feet. We’re gonna get him a negative test by next week,” she said.
