Drake just released a surprise album titled Honestly, Nevermind. The single on the album, Falling Back, came with a music video featuring Tristan Thompson.
In the music video, Thompson plays Drake’s best man at his wedding, where he tells Drake, “you only get married once.”
“You ready?” Thompson asks Drake at the beginning of the video. “Doesn’t feel right, we scrap it, we go home, and it’s done,” he adds.
Drake then reassures Thompson he’s ready to settle down and that he’s “in love.”
Thompson smiles and says, “We’re gonna do this, we’ve got to get you right,” he says while straightening Drake’s bowtie. “You only get married once.”
Thompson’s appearance in the music video comes one day after the season finale of The Kardashians, which was highly focused on the end of his relationship with Khloe Kardashian.
Last year, Kardashian found out Thompson was expecting a child with another woman, which ended their romantic ties. In the episode, she says, “I find out what Tristan is doing with the rest of the world. A courtesy would be not doing it. But fine, if you do it, you are not even going to give me a f–king heads-up before the rest of the world? It is just an additional slap in my face. It is humiliating. I am embarrassed. I would prefer to be alone than to be around people.”
