Binance Signs $40M Deal With Argentina’s National Football Team

Argentina’s National Football Team just signed a five-year deal with Binance.

On May 4, the partnership became official, making the crypto exchanging the team’s primary sponsor. The $40 million partnership is the second-biggest sponsorship deal the country has obtained since their Adidas deal.

Binance also acquired the naming rights for the national league and the rights to launch an official Argentine Football Association fan token for the contract duration.

Trust Wall congratulated the team on Twitter.

Maximiliano Hinz, Director of Binance for Latin America, commented on how this deal can bring innovation to the country and industry.

‍”Sport is always a strong avenue for people to connect with each other and their passions and, in Argentina, football is especially relevant in this sense. The partnership with AFA will bring technology and innovation closer to the country’s sport industry and its millions of fanatics and expand the adoption of cryptocurrencies for the benefit of users, the blockchain community, and society at large.”
