Mike Tyson Says Jake Paul Is “Crazy” and Would “Go To Jail” Before Fight

Boxing legend Mike Tyson said he feared Jake Paul would get arrested before a fight took place between the two boxers.

Paul has been persistent about wanting to fight the heavyweight champion, Tyson. He was repeatedly said he would bulk up to qualify for the heavyweight fight. Paul has also said he believes the fight could be worth $300 million.

Tyson previously said he would never knock out Paul because his family members are fans of him, but he thinks their desire to fight him is “awesome” and he is now tempted to enter that ring.

Although, Tyson said Paul is “crazy” and thinks he could be arrested before they have a chance even to fight.

“I would worry about him getting in trouble before the fight happened,” Tyson said on his Hotboxin podcast. “I’d tell him, ‘hey man, you’re going to go to jail for real, chill out.’ This dude’s crazy. He would be throwing stuff at people, bottles, and stuff.

Tyson said the only way he would fight Paul is if it was recording-breaking for the highest pay-per-view of all time. Floyd Mayweather’s 2015 bout holds that accolade with Manny Pacquiao, which sold 4.6 million purchases.

“Hell yeah, only to break the record,” Tyson added. “Jake Paul, believe it not, is more profitable than the champs. This guy probably brings about 80 million people to the table. Let’s do it, Jakey. God, wouldn’t that be cool.”
