TikTok Star Charli D’Amelio Rivals Top Earning CEO’s with her Sky-scraping Salary

Charli D’Amelio, Gen-Z social media personality and TikTok star, is just an ordinary 17-year-old girl, with an over-flowing bank account that rivals the velvet-lined pockets of successful CEOs.

The young TikTok star made a whopping $17.5 million just in 2021, based on an article published by Forbes. With that high-yielding cash flow, Charli out-earns some of the highest paid entrepreneurs and businessmen. For example, CEO of Monster Beverage, Rodney C. Sacks, brought home a salary of $15.5 million in 2020. Also, comparatively, Chris Kempczinski, current CEO of McDonald’s, took home $10.8 million, and Tim Cook of Apple made $14.7 million in 2020. According to the Wall Street Journal, the median earnings of CEO’s at an S&P 500 company was $13.4 million.

As the most followed person on TikTok with 133.8M, Charli’s viral dances and silly videos have sky-rocketed her to instant stardom. She has since created her own clothing and nail polish line. She also has a reality TV series that airs on Hulu called “The D’Amelio Show.” Currently, dating fellow influencer, Chase Hudson, known as Lil’ Huddy, social media has created a space for creative collaboration and growth. She was also previously associated with the famous social media influencer collective, the Hype House, where influencers live together and produced content.
