Stephen Curry just graduated from college!
The Warriors star got his college diploma on Sunday, 13 years after joining the NBA. He shared photos on Instagram to celebrate the occasion, saying it was a “dream come true.”
“Dream Come True!! Class of 2010….aka 2022 but we got it done!” Curry shared in his caption. “Thanks to my whole village that helped me get across the finish line. Made the promise when I left and had to see it through.”
His wife, Ayesha Curry, reposted the series of photos on her Instagram Story, writing, “Proud would be an understatement! Congratulations my love. YOU DID IT!”
Curry first attended the North Carolina liberal arts college from 2006 to 2009, when he was the Warriors’ seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. He officially completed his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology this spring from Davidson College.
The Golden State Warriors congratulated him with an Instagram post, as did Davidson College on Twitter.
“Stephen Curry has on many occasions emphasized the importance of education, how much he valued his Davidson College experience and that he is committed to earning his degree. He needed to complete one semester of classwork.”
